Sunset Trocadero Lounge

All the beads, sequin, and glitter on the women’s shirts and all the two-hundred dollar, bargain jeans together cannot hide the filth in the two w/m bathrooms at the Sunset Trocadero on the Sunset Strip. The clientele being wasted is no excuse for the paper towels strewn across the floor instead of the wastebin. The historic photos of the Sunset Strip did not distract me from the sink, clogged with hair and more paper towels, nor did they eclipse the pubic hairs attacking a lady’s peripheral vision. Yes, the highlight of these unisex public health risks is that, if toilet squatting to avoid the latest STDs running rampant through the crowd of aspiring actors, aspiring agents, and aspiring studio execs, a urinal sits above puddles to your near right.

Club Tee Gee

Continuity for continence earns the Club Tee Gee, located at 3210 Glendale Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90039-1811 three out of five toilets, where the simple color coordination equals the attention paid to cleaning the corners around the toilet. As detail-oriented as it is sanitary, this cash only bar's rooms to relieve are simply but thoughtfully accented with the bar's forest green signature. The treetop green glittered with gold ceiling color is carried through the bathroom's linoleum, dark green plastic trash can, and is even complimented by a bright green handle on the hand soap dispenser. Lured from the West Side for a friend's 40th birthday celebration, the cleanliness and shine of the white toilet bowl and sink mean I'll come back for more cash only, five dollar, bottled Rolling Rocks.

three out of five toilets:
The green and white fact is that the solid, bar bones, resting place is disease free and earns an extra toilet for wheelchair accessibility.

TRiP

Worth the trip to the ladies room is the vintage sink complete with a heart shaped overflow. Even if vintage amenities don't usually make you swoon, the delicate, relief patterns will distract your having just relieved yourself in another filthy, skinnier-than-your-Grandma's powder room.

Boo and two toilets lost for the lack of accessibility.

three out of five toilets--earned for the can't-be-missed antique sink!
